I acknowledge that participation in Taunton Pickleball's sessions, events, competitions, leagues, friendlies, festivals etc, involves inherent risks of injury.
I understand these risks exist regardless of all the care taken by the group, its leaders, instructors, volunteers, and other members.
Assumption of Risk
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in any session, event, competition, leagues, friendly or festival, or any event organised by Taunton Pickleball, at home or at visiting clubs, or at any regular or one-off venues.
Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and discharge Taunton Pickleball, its leaders, instructors, volunteers, and other members from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of, or in connection with my participation, including claims for personal injury, illness, death, or damage to property, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Nothing in this waiver shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, as provided by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977. Fraud or fraudulent mis pre presentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Medical Declaration
I confirm that:
I am physically fit to participate in pickleball activities
I will not participate if I am unwell, injured, or otherwise unfit to do so
I consent to receiving first aid or emergency treatment if required

I confirm I have read the full Code of Conduct conditions, set in place by Taunton Pickleball, which is available to view in full on the Taunton Pickleball website, and I confirm I agree to all the conditions stated therein. Photography and Media
I consent to photographs and videos being taken during sessions and events for use on our group website, social media channels and other promotional materials.
